All I have written about Quartz

This page is intended to be a starting point if you want to know how to build your own Quartz blog, either with a quick basic setup (that will look like the Quartz documentation) or with a custom layout, like this blog. All my code changes for this blog have I documented here. Another note is about how to keep your installation up to date with the upstream repository, if you want to include patches and new features. While tinkering with my Quartz setup I noticed some minor bugs and came up with some improvement ideas aswell.

I’ve also documented my workflow for new blog entries, using Obsidian and its git plugin (among other plugins I use). My folder structure in Obsidian has also relevance for this, and maybe also my notes about the quartz frontmatter structure. You can also read about how to use Obsidian on multiple PCs simultaneously.

If you’re now starting with Quartz and/or Obsidian, you might want to read my notes on markdown or all notes about obsidian, quartz and github. I have also written a guide for a local test setup using Docker on Windows.
